Elite Development Football Club (EDFC) is a family run club with a strong ethos for youth development. Passionate about football and equipping young players with the self-belief, motivation and discipline to excel, EDFC was founded by Anthony Holder (Head Coach) and Rae Morrison (Assistant Coach) in 2018.

Our aim is to be competitive in everything we do and to equip all players with the skills, focus and attitude to play at a higher level, most notably academy level and beyond. We are supported by a committed and enthusiastic group of parents and carers who embrace our ethos to ‘Aspire and Achieve’.

The club was founded following Anthony and Rae’s two successful seasons managing Storm F.C - Lightning (U13’s - 2016-2017 and U14’s - 2017-2018) in the Tandridge Youth Football League. During this time the team achieved:

• In the 2016/17 season, Storm F.C Lightning U13’s won the Division D title, scoring over 100 goals

• In the 2017/18 season, Storm F.C Lightning U14’s won the Division C title

• In the 2017/18 season, Storm F.C Lightning U14's won the Division C Sportsmanship Award (a rare achievement to win

   both titles in the same year)

• In the 2017/18 season, Storm F.C Lightning U14’s were runners up in the Senior Cup Final (beating four Division A teams 

   on the way to the final)

A new vision

​

A number of new players as well as most of the players who had previously represented Storm F.C Lightning have come together to start a new and exciting journey with Elite Development Football Club.

Elite Development Football Club is based in the Croydon area, with most players residing in and around Croydon and South London. Our training facilities are based in Addiscombe, Croydon, and our home matches will be played at Harvington Sports Ground (Beckenham). 

  

Elite Development Football Club will be entering the Tandridge Youth League at U15’s in the A Division. Our Division A placement is mostly attributable to our achievements over the past two seasons with our previous club.
